      Raducanu positva al Covid-19, salterà l’esibizione di Abu Dhabi

      Brutte notizie per la stella del tennis britannico Emma Raducanu. La 19enne campionessa di US Open è risultata positiva al Covid-19 e quindi non potrà scendere in campo all’esibizione di Abu Dhabi, il Mubadala World Tennis Championship, al via questa settimana. Lo comunica il torneo attraverso una serie di Tweet.
      “Emma si trova in isolamento seguendo i protocolli necessari sanitari. Le auguriamo un pronto recupero di poterla rivedere presto in campo”, si legge in una nota. “Stiamo cercando un soluzione con un’altra tennista di massimo livello per l’incontro previsto con Belinda Bencic, avrete notizie appena possibile”.
      Ecco le dichiarazioni di Raducanu: “Non vedevo l’ora di poter giocare di fronte al pubblico di Abu Dhabi, ma sfortunatamente sono risultata positiva ad un test Covid-19. Sono costretta a rimandare l’appuntamento nel prossimo futuro. Mi trovo in isolamento seguendo le regole del caso, spero di poter tornare presto in campo”. Il quotidiano britannico Daily Telegraph riporta di sintomi lievi accusati da Emma.
