      Luigi Randazzo giocherà in Egitto con la maglia dell’Al-Ahly

      La squadra egiziana dell’Al-Ahly ha ufficializzato l’ingaggio di Luigi Randazzo per la prossima stagione: l’ex schiacciatore della nazionale, 28 anni, vivrà così la sua prima stagione all’estero dopo 12 campionati consecutivi in A1 e Superlega, l’ultimo dei quali con la maglia della Gioiella Prisma Taranto. Il giocatore catanese aveva tentato in precedenza anche l’avventura in Corea del Sud, ma non era stato selezionato al draft dei giocatori stranieri per il prossimo anno.

      Randazzo è al momento l’unico nuovo acquisto annunciato dall’Al-Ahly insieme al giovane schiacciatore Ahmed Azab. Lo scorso anno, la squadra del Cairo ha schierato il nazionale USA Garrett Muagututia e, nella parte finale della stagione, il brasiliano Mauricio Borges.
