      Tabellone Atp Doha: torna in campo Roger Federer, al via anche Sonego

      Da lunedì 8 fino a sabato 13 marzo sul cemento outdoor di Doha (Qatar) sarà  in programma il torneo Atp 250 (montepremi $890,920) che di solito si disputa ad inizio anno e che l’emergenza Coronavirus ha fatto slittare di due mesi; l’ottima notizia per gli appassionati di tennis è quella che vedrà il ritorno in campo dello svizzero Roger Federer, fermo dal gennaio dello scorso anno per problemi fisici.Al via saranno ventotto giocatori con le prime quattro teste di serie (Thiem, Federer, Rublev e Shapovalov) che grazie al Bye a loro disposizione inizieranno il loro percorso dal secondo turno (ottavi di finale); nella scorsa stagione la vittoria del torneo andò al russo Rublev che in finale sconfisse il francese Moutet per 6-2, 7-6.

      Sarà presente anche l’azzurro Sonego che esordirà contro lo statunitense Fritz (1-1 i precedenti), mentre Federer aspetterà il vincente del match tra Chardy-Evans e dunque un ritorno in campo da prendere con le molle, mentre per l’austriaco Thiem (numero 1 del seeding) sorteggio più soft (Zayid o Karatsev).Tra gli incontri principali del primo turno vanno menzionati Opelka-Bautista Agut, Lajovic-Fucsovics e Basilashvili-Millman.

      Tabellone Atp Rotterdam: Medvedev e Tsitsipas le prime due teste di serie, al via l’azzurro Sonego

      Da oggi fino a domenica 7 all’Arena Rotterdam Ahoy, si disputerà il torneo Atp 500 di Rotterdam (cemento indoor) che vedrà al via trentadue giocatori anche se sarà caratterizzato da parecchi forfait importanti, a cominciare dagli azzurri Berrettini e Sinner continuando con Monfils (vincitore nel 2020), Shapovalov, Raonic, Carreno Busta, Ruud, Fritz, Evans, Krajinovic, Cilic, Kyrgios e Gasquet.
      Le prime due teste di serie saranno il russo Medvedev e il greco Tsitsipas che esordiranno rispettivamente il serbo Lajovic e il bielorusso Gerasimov, presente con una wild card anche il tedesco A.Zverev (numero 3 del seeding) che affronterà il russo naturalizzato kazako Bublik. L’unico azzurro al via è Sonego che se la vedrà con l’americano Paul, mentre per Seppi il torneo olandese è terminata nel secondo ed ultimo turno di qualificazione, sconfitto dal britannico Norrie per 6-3, 6-2.
      Tra gli incontri più interessanti del primo turno ci sono da segnalare il derby spagnolo Bautista Augut-Davidovich Fokina e quello australiano Millman-De Minaur, ma anche Haase-Murray, Goffin-Struff, Wawrinka-Khachanov e Nishikori-Auger-Aliassime (finalista della scorsa edizione).
